Biography:
Dr. Marielle Rominger was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Arts at The University of Texas at Austin, where she also completed a certificate in Public Health through the Bridging Disciplines Program. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she was recognized as a Texas Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Scholar and a Community Engaged Public Health Scholar. She then returned to Austin to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas.
During residency, Dr. Rominger completed both the Distinction in Care Transformation Track and the Primary Care Track, gaining advanced training in outpatient medicine, health equity, innovation, and preventive care. She developed broad clinical experience caring for diverse and complex patient populations at the Veterans Affairs clinic, Community Care clinics, UT Health, WellMed, Dell Seton Medical Center, and Ascension Seton Medical Center.
Dr. Rominger’s practice emphasizes preventive health, patient education, nutrition, and overall well-being. She is committed to supporting each patient’s unique needs and long-term health goals, with a special focus on managing chronic conditions.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Rominger enjoys spending time outdoors such as paddleboarding on Lady Bird Lake or swimming at Barton Springs, enjoying live music, cooking, staying active, and traveling.
