Biography

Diego grew up in Mission, Texas, and has always had a passion for serving the community through healthcare. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Kingsville, earning degrees in Biomedical Science and Clinical Psychology. He then went on to pursue a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

After completing PA school, Diego began his career in medicine, gaining 10 years experience working in Psychiatry. Now as part of the Internal Medicine team at CMC, Diego is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, with a focus on prevention, chronic disease management, mental health and building long-term relationships with patients.

Diego enjoys family time, movie trivia, travel, cooking and outdoor activities.
