The Month of Thanksgiving 2021

Home Employee Newsletter The Month of Thanksgiving 2021

During this month, the holiday committee has put up a Gratitude or Thankfulness Tree in our main patient waiting room.

We thought 2020 would be the end of hard times, but it just wasn’t meant to be. Unfortunately, regardless of 2 years dealing with this disease, we never truly know what one another is going through that adds to the stress of our work. Our hope as a committee with this project is to allow employees a break to reflect and remember all the small things we tend to overlook but are grateful to have or be part of.

The committee asks employees to write some things, people, or places that they are thankful for on the ornaments the committee passed out to all staff. After writing on an ornament, staff will hang their written on ornaments on the tree in the waiting room. That way the clinic has a symbol of all things to appreciate during this month of thankfulness and thanksgiving.

If staff couldn’t think of what to write, we suggested they start with the amazing Thanksgiving meal which the clinic will be providing next week? We know everyone gets excited for Fowler’s Smokin’ Soul Food on November 17th!

Regardless of the normal stresses work may bring, Capital Medical Clinic has proven time and time again to be here for us, and we are all very thankful for that.
