You can schedule your flu shots during one of the following dates and times:
- Wednesdays (8:30am-11p,) and (1-4) on the 7th floor
- Thursdays (8:30am-11pm) and (1-4) on the 7th floor
- Thursday evenings (5pm-7pm) on the 6th floor
- Saturday Clinics via drive through at the front of the building (8am-12pm) on September 12th, 19th, 26th and October 10th and 17th
None of our flu vaccines contain latex or thimerosal (mercury) based preservative. They do not contain live virus; therefore, you cannot get the flu from the flu vaccine. However, some people may experience mild “flu like” symptoms following a flu shot that can last 1-2 days. It takes approximately 2 weeks to develop protection following vaccination. Flu is spread by coughing, sneezing and close contact. Best prevention is handwashing and a flu shot!
