What led me to a membership model

I chose to do CMC Plus so I can give my patients the time, direct communication, and attention they deserve to thrive.

In this new model, visits are never rushed, allowing me to thoroughly address concerns, perform comprehensive screenings, and focus on prevention rather than reacting to illness after it occurs. It also gives me the space to talk about the whole person — nutrition, exercise, stress management, meditation, and the role of spirituality in health — because lasting wellness goes beyond prescriptions alone.

CMC Plus means you have direct communication to me when you need it, and the reassurance that your questions will be addressed thoughtfully and promptly. With my experience as a hospitalist and strong relationships with trusted specialists, I will be able to coordinate your care and advocate for you across the healthcare system. CMC Plus represents a shift from volume-based medicine to truly patient-centered medical care, creating a more personal, proactive, and effective healthcare experience.

If you’re looking for a physician who takes the time to truly know you and partner with you in your health, I invite you to learn more about CMC Plus and see if it’s the right fit for you.

I am originally from India, and I was born in Abu Dhabi. I grew up in the Middle East, surrounded by different cultures that shaped my outlook on life and medicine. My journey eventually brought me to the United States when I was accepted to the University of Texas at Austin—a place that quickly became home and set the foundation for my future in medicine.

After college, I headed to Las Vegas for medical school, embracing both the challenges and excitement of training to become a physician. I later returned to Austin for my Internal Medicine residency, drawn back by the city, the community, and the opportunity to care for a wide range of patients.

I then spent the next 10 years working as a hospitalist, caring for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. Those years taught me the value of listening, teamwork, and being fully present for patients and their families. Since 2021, I have been practicing outpatient primary care, where I enjoy getting to know my patients over time and partner with them to stay healthy and active.

On a personal note…

When I’m not at work, I am a proud husband and dad to three kids — one son and two daughters — who keep me on my toes. I’m a big soccer fan, have a long-standing appreciation for sneakers and cars, and love spending as much time as possible with my family. I bring that same sense of balance, curiosity, and care into every patient interaction.
